We Cropped the Day Away!

Saturday was so much fun! 12 of us got together at the Holiday Inn in Alcoa, Tennessee for a full day of scrappin', eatin', and gabbin'.

We all had a good time. The place was quiet and comfortable and we had plenty of good food, thanks to my sweet friend (thanks, Becky!). It was great meeting new scrapbook friends. Ya'll are a wonderful bunch of ladies. Thank you for sharing the day with me! I'm looking forward to the next crop in June.

Ladybug Memories Scrapbook Retreat
August 22-24, 2008

Hey there! Let’s get ready to relax and retreat! Scrapbook retreat, that is. You know, plenty of fun cropping with friends, staying up late, eating as much chocolate as you want (and, of course getting lots of pages done)?

Well, let me tell you what I have planned. I have reserved the whole weekend just for us at Eagle Rock Camp and Retreat Center in Maryville, Tennessee. Located in the Great Smoky Mountains just east of Maryville, this place is simply gorgeous! And the staff is the best in the world. Really nice people.

Here are the details:

Friday, August 22, 4:00 PM. - Sunday, August 24, 4:00 PM

Crop as much as you want for 48 hours! Of course, you’ll want to leave a little time for eating the great meals provided, visiting with friends (old and new), and shopping the tables that will be loaded with plenty of yummy scrapbook supplies. If you want sleep, there’s a place for you to do that as well. And, I’m sure I’ll be spending some time enjoying the beautiful view….
There will be tools available, including a computer and printer, Sizzix and dies, sewing machine, and circle cutter.

Price: $185 includes 4 feet of table space, 6 meals, snacks/drinks, goody bag, t-shirt, and door prizes.

A $60 non-refundable deposit is required upon registration with the remainder due upon arrival at the camp.

The first 15 people who register will receive a special scrapbook-related gift valued at $10.00 retail. Deadline is June 10, 2008, so sign up today!

Summer is almost here! Gather up your photos and let's scrap!

Date/Time: Saturday, June 7, 2008, 8:00 AM-10:00 PM

Place: Holiday Inn Express, Alcoa, Tennessee
Cost: $25

The cost of this event includes:
Lunch and supper
Door prizes
Goody bags
4 feet of table space per person
Sizzix and dies
Computer and printer for use
Sewing machine
Circle cutter
Idea books
Drinks and snacks (including chocolate!)

If you bring a friend, each of you will get $5.00 off your fee.

A $10.00 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration in order to hold your spot. The remainder is due on or before June 1.

Beginners are welcome! I will have all you need to get started (just bring photos).

There will be a table at the crop with lots of supplies for you to purchase. Many of these things will be items you will not see in the local craft and scrapbook stores. If there is something you want before the crop, email me and let me know and I will get it for you.There will be a limit of 10 spaces available at this event, so sign up today!

This Girl Likes to Rock!

And rock she does! This blog makes me want to be a teenager again. I have enjoyed her fresh view on scrapbooking as well as other things she dabbles in. I even like the unique way she communicates. I wish I were as cute as this. Gives me something to aim for. Rock on, Kara!
